This course takes complete beginners through the basic skills of barbering, including scissor and clipper techniques.

What will I be doing?
This course will help you to understand men's grooming fashions and introduce you to a range of techniques and services offered by the modern barber.
You will learn:
- Basic comb, scissor and clipper skills
- Client care and consultation
- Equipment care and safety
- To cut, trim and style hair
What is expected of me?
You will be advised about the purchase of equipment and blocks to practice your skills, during the first week of the course.
What comes next?
After successful completion of the course, if you would like to continue developing your skillset you can progress onto the Level 2 NVQ Barbering Course.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
