Construction learners visit a local manufacturer during 'See Your Site' week
Recently, a group of our听construction learners seized the opportunity to learn first-hand about timber frame engineering听补迟听 in Caldicot.
The visit was organised in conjunction with the听听during 鈥楽ee Your Site鈥� week, which encourages construction employers to open up their site to learners and new entrants to the industry, in a bid to raise awareness of the career paths available in the sector.
Our students were able to chat with the design team, who demonstrated the process of bringing a design brief to life.听 The visit concluded with a tour around the factory, where students were able to get a closer look at the manufacturing process.
