November saw the first in a series of Employer Engagement Webinars hosted by members of our experienced employer engagement team.

It’s been another fantastic year of WorldSkills UK competitions and results for Team Wales, with Â鶹´«Ã½AV learners winning Gold, Silver, Bronze and Highly Commended across a range of skills competitions! 

Our talented learners across Â鶹´«Ã½AV have been given the unique opportunity to get creative and design a logo for the Torfaen Strategic Economic Forum’s new Business Forum.

Business student Hannaliese has ambitions to make it in the professional world and has already secured herself a successful summer placement with the help of the CG Ambitions team.

Our Crosskeys Campus Hair and Beauty department recently hosted some special guests from BBC X Ray. With industry-standard facilities and expert tutors in the make-up and beauty sector, Â鶹´«Ã½AV was the ideal place to film an episode all about the growing issue of counterfeit make-up. 

With the high-profile UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) coming up, our learners were given the unique opportunity to speak to local Senedd Members to express their thoughts on climate change and discuss the topics they’d like the conference address.
